The sudden death of Gospel singer Betty Bayo has left her two children deeply saddened.

A memorial service was organized to celebrate his life on Sunday, November 16, at the CFF Church in Kiambu, just a few days after the beloved singer died on Monday, November 10.

How Dani copes with the death of her mother

Family, friends and fellow artists gathered to honor her through tribute speeches that showed the image of a good, loving and dedicated woman.

Among the most sad photos are those that showed her children, Sky Victor and Danivictor, who were with her ex-husband. Pastor Victor Kanyari.

One of the most emotional pictures showed Dani, dressed in black, looking very hurt but trying to be strong.

Despite being the younger of the two, she controlled her tears and remained calm throughout the service.

At one point, she sought comfort from Betty’s best friend and stepfather, Tash, who gently hugged her as the service continued.

Later, Dani mustered the courage to go to a place of worship to honor her mother.

In that unique honor, he remembered the memories they had and promised to take care of his sister, saying:

“Even though you are not here with us, I carry your love everywhere I go. I will try my best to live in a way that will make you proud.”

As Sky copes with the death of his mother

Sky, the older brother, seemed more depressed.

Several photos showed her sitting next to Dani, wearing a black dress and sunglasses to hide her teary eyes.

However, at one point, he removed the glasses, showing the depth of his grief.

His honor was also very emotional and heavy, he tried to read his message while suffering from sadness.

Sky remembered the memories they had built together, their last time together, and the last picture of her mother’s pain right after she died.

He described how he saw Betty sweating after a long and courageous struggle to survive, the memory brought tears to his eyes.

His grandchildren had to help him at the place of worship as he tried to cope with the grief.

Other emotional photos showed the children together with Pastor Kanyari and Tash complete with prayers.

The pictures of Sky and Dani, being sad touched Kenyans who sent them messages of encouragement and comfort during this difficult period.

Pastor Kanyari praised Betty

During the service, Pastor Kanyari also fought back tears while praising Betty.

The pastor of the Salvation Healing Ministries church described her as a brave, kind and obedient mother who always tried to give her children a good life.

He emotionally promised to take care of his children and keep his memory alive.
