Pastor Kanyari Fights Tears Paying Tribute to His Late Wife Betty Bayo

• Silence filled the CFF church on Sunday, November 16, as mourners gathered to pay their last respects to the late gospel singer Betty Bayo.
• Pastor Victor Kanyari, who was Betty’s husband, could not hide his feelings when he spoke about the deceased
• The preacher remembered Betty as a devoted mother to their two children, Sky Victor and Danivictor, and promised never to forget her.

A service to honor Betty Bayo was held for the late gospel singer Betty Bayo on Sunday, November 16, at the CFF Church.

The singer died on Monday, November 10, at the Kenyatta National Hospital, where he was receiving treatment after being diagnosed with ublood cancer disease.

According to the family and those close to him, his condition had deteriorated greatly in the last few days due to the illness that had weakened him greatly.

Emotions ran high during the service when Pastor Victor Kanyari stood up to pay his respects to Betty.

The preacher choked but could not hold back his tears when he spoke of her as a role model woman and a devoted mother to their children Sky Victor and Danvictor.

Struggling with grief, she remembered their life together before they broke up. He said:

“Today I respect and remember Mama Sky, the mother of our children, a woman whose presence affected not only their lives but also mine. We shared a lot—some were happy, some challenging—but all were meaningful. She was a gentle, calm and strong woman, whose love for her children never wavered.”

The preacher who seemed sad said:

“Our journey had its challenges, but it also brought us beautiful memories, moments of laughter, and seasons of life that made us who we are today. These memories will remain in my heart and remind me of the beauty we once shared.”

He also praised the deceased for being a pillar mother to their children, saying:

“Most of all, Betty was a devoted mother. The way she cared for them, her warmth, and the way she cherished Sky and Dani is a gift that they will carry with them for the rest of their lives. Thank you for being a wonderful mother, thank you for the memories we shared. May your soul rest in eternal peace. Your love will continue to shine through our children today and always.”

What are the funeral plans for Betty Bayo?

TUKO.co.ke previously reported that the funeral committee announced that the singer he will be laid to rest at his Mugumo Estate, Kiambu Road.

His funeral is scheduled for Thursday, November 19. The committee also said that The funeral budget is estimated at KSh 5 million.

Furthermore, Pastor Kanyari announced that there will be a candle lighting ceremony at his church, Salvation Healing Ministries, near Kayole Junction, on Monday, November 17 from 8pm.

He encouraged his believers and followers to come out in large numbers to comfort him when he was crying for the mother of his children.
