Member of Parliament for Suba South Millie Odhiambo has issued a warning to blogger Robert Alai about his unwarranted attacks against EALA MP Winnie Odinga.

The blogger had posted on social media criticizing Winnie for her stance on broad government.
Speaking in Mombasa on Friday, November 14, Winnie, who is the youngest child of the deceased Raila Odingaslammed a group within the party, accusing them of trying to sell ODM to unspecified interests.
Why Winnie Odinga angered Robert Alai
He declared that he would not stand by and watch ODM be auctioned off to the highest bidder.
His remarks did not go down well with Alai, who responded with a strong attack on the EALA MP on Saturday morning, November 15.
Alai, who represents Kileleshwa Ward in the Nairobi County Assembly, said that Winnie had no authority to decide the future direction of the ODM party after Raila’s death.
According to him, being the leader’s daughter did not qualify her to advise the party.
Millie later defended Winnie.
How Millie Odhiambo defended Winnie against Alai
Speaking at the ODM@20 meeting in Mombasa, the MP criticized Alai for targeting a mourner and for attacking a woman as a sign of bravery.
He promised to stand with Winnie against characters who do not tolerate opinions different from theirs.
Millie said she would take any attacks against Winnie personally and act like they were offended.
“I would like to warn the person who attacked Winnie Odinga. As a defender of women, I want to say this, whether it is Alai or any name, I have seen that he likes to harass women. But when Millie Odhiambo is there, we will deal with you face to face.

Winnie had called out some members of the ODM party, blaming them for causing internal conflict.

He went after some members of the party for engaging in divisive politics driven by personal interests, which he said was causing confusion among many members.
He emphasized that ODM must remain strong despite the death of its long-serving leader, and warned that the party will not surrender to people who are seeking opportunities for themselves.
Winnie affirmed that ODM will remain true to its founding mission of advocating for social justice rather than following the existing political order.
He encouraged the youth to play a major role in shaping the future of the party and emphasized ODM’s commitment to national development, enshrined in the vision of its founders.
