The former president Uhuru Kenyatta has donated KSh 1 million to Betty Bayo’s family.

Bayo is one of the musicians who touched hearts with his gospel songs, and there is no doubt that he will be greatly missed.
How did Uhuru help the Bayo family?
His death shocked Kenyans, as many did not know that he was silently fighting cancer.
Kikuyu musician Ben Githae announced the news that the former president had donated KSh 1 million to the family of the late musician.
“After Uhuru Kenyatta donated KSh 1 million for this funeral through the Kenyatta Foundation, he also attendedask for the names of Betty Bayo’s children so that they can finance their studies,” he said.
The money comes following the contribution of Bayo’s family to pay for his funeral. His family plans to give him a proper burial.
When Kanyari found out about Uhuru’s contribution, he took to social media to thank him. He had shared the video with his son, Danny.

The preacher had previously revealed that he was the one who paid his children’s fees, and they had a peaceful relationship
“She was a very good woman, even in terms of parenting. I was the one who was paying for the children’s school fees, and we would collaborate on many issues, and she would not have any problems,” he said.

Bayo’s close friend, Shiru Wa GP, shared details about the last conversation Bayo’s daughter, Sky, had with her mother.
Kanyari cried uncontrollably after looking at the body of his ex-wife in the mortuary.
Kenyans on social media praised Bayo’s husband, Hiram Gitau, aka Tash, for the way he behaved.
Tash introduced Sky and Danny as her children during a memorial mass at their home in Edenville.

In other news, Shiru picked Sky up from school after her mother’s death.
The musician hugged Sky, who was heartbroken by the news.
Later, Kanyari was seen comforting her crying daughter.
