Betty and Kanyari were blessed with two children, Sky Victor and Dani Victor.
The servant of God explained his pain as people came forward, planning to raise his children while he was still alive.
Kanyari explained that it was pointless for people to claim the right to raise the two children, especially when they were mourning their mother.
“People have come forward, to divide my children. Their mother is not there, and now they want to take my children from me,” he said angrily.
Does Pastor Kanyari care for his children?
The father of two praised Betty for making parenting easier after the split.
“She called me whenever the children were involved, whether it was illness or school matters. In fact, when we enrolled them in the very expensive school they attended, Betty herself called and asked me to take them there, and I had no problem,” he shared.
Kanyari noted that their parenting worked because they respected each other and had clear boundaries, understanding that Betty was married to Tash.
“I called her ‘Mama’, she called me ‘Baba Sky’. I respected her because she is a married woman and not my wife, but I could not abandon my children just because their mother is married to another man, for people I would rather die,” said the pastor.
He also addressed claims that he never loved the gospel musician, noting that he always loved her as the mother of his children.
Kanyari revealed that Betty ended their relationship at that time, but that did not make him hate her, and she continued to support him.
“We didn’t stop communicating. She was calling me, and we talked for only 30 minutes, laughing, but out of respect for her husband, whom I respect a lot. That’s why when Sky asked me to meet her stepfather, I couldn’t refuse,” she explained.
