Why a Nairobi man sends his ex-girlfriend a bouquet of onions
He explained that the customer was a heartbroken man who wanted to send a special message to his ex-girlfriend, and he couldn’t say no.
“The customer asked for a bouquet of flowers for her ex, which I thought was interesting, but I was stunned when she revealed that she didn’t want flowers or money, just onions,” said Ma’riah.
The man explained that his heart had been broken by the woman, and he wanted to send her something that would make her cry, and forget her.
“He wanted that ‘who’s crying now’ moment. It seemed small, but I thought it was cute,” he added.
Ma’riah asked if her ex would find the surprise gift offensive, but the client assured her that the lady would find it funny and maybe even want it back.
