In August, photos and videos of Marya’s traditional wedding with high-ranking government official Jack Okula went viral on social media.
She looked very beautiful wearing a traditional dress similar to her husband, Okula.
The wedding shocked many Kenyans. Marya had not announced or shared any details about her traditional wedding that took place in Ugenya, Siaya County.
It was an event that attracted many on the internet, especially after the groom landed in Ugenya using a helicopter.
What happened between YY and Marya?
After Marya’s wedding went viral, many Kenyans mocked her ex-boyfriend YY, but the comedian remained silent.
The two announced their separation in September 2024, and YY officially launched her new relationship through social media.
