Bayo’s body, which was covered in a white sheet, was taken out of the ambulance, then placed on a stretcher and pushed to the mortuary.
Family and friends who had accompanied the body were heard crying in sorrow as the doors were written “staff only” closed, leaving them out.
No one was allowed to enter except for authorized persons.
A video of the tragic incident went viral online, leaving fans heartbroken.

Kanyari, the father of Bayo’s children, was seen crying uncontrollably at the KU mortuary in Nairobi County.
Sitting in the living room with other family members, Kanyari was heard mentioning the names of her children while mourning Bayo’s death.
The city preacher was seen being comforted by his PA, but he could not calm down.
“He’s really gone,” he wrote in a video from Mochari with broken heart emojis 💔.

Who is Betty Bayo’s husband?
In another statement, TUKO.co.ke reported that Bayo was legally married to Hiram Gitau, also known as Tash.
The lovers got married in a colorful and happy traditional wedding on December 17, 2021.
Bayo moved to Hiram six years after divorcing Kanyari, and she often praised her husband with love, thanking him for accepting her and her children.
On November 10, after Bayo’s death was confirmed, Hiram was seen crying in pain while a female relative comforted him.
