Nairobi: Pastor Kanyari is still struggling to come to terms with the nightmare that his ex-wife, Betty Bayo has died, even as he informs Kenyans about the burial plans.

Kanyari admitted that he did not know that Bayo was sick, although he called him a few days before he died to ask him to take the children.
Was Betty Bayo sick?
“The last time we spoke, he told me to come and take the children, but I told him I couldn’t because I was far away. Even this time when he was sick, I didn’t know.
I found out this morning and was told he was in the hospital for a week. Someone called me to tell me to come and see him, but when I got there I realized that he was no longer in a bad condition, he had already died.” he said in an interview with Kameme FM.

The preacher informed his followers that Bayo’s body would be transferred from KNH to KU Referral Hospital Mortuary.
Kanyari, dressed in white, was seen crying in pain after seeing the body of his ex-wife.
“He’s really gone,” he wrote on social media with broken heart emojis attached.

Did Kanyari comfort her daughter?
In other news, the preacher he was seen comforting his daughter Sky after hearing the news of his mother’s death.
Sky was taken to school by singer Shiro Wa GP. Kenyans expressed their grief to the family and remembered how close Bayo was to his children.
