Pastor Kanyari was seen struggling with great sadness after receiving the news of the death of his ex-wife, Betty Bayo.

The musician passed away while being treated at the Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH).
His family called a press conference to confirm the news.
Kanyari was with Betty’s current husband, Hiram Gitau, and they both looked very sad.
The pastor sat next to Hiram Gitau when the doctors were giving information about the musician’s sudden death.
Kanyari was seen clutching his head in pain and sometimes wiping away tears.

What happened to Betty Bayo?
Kenyans wrote messages of comfort to the pastor telling him that Betty is now in a good place.
A family representative revealed that Betty was suffering from heavy bleeding and was transferred to KNH on November 7.
“We are here at KNH with the father of the children and the family, and we would like to tell the public that it is no longer a rumor but the truth. He was sick since last week when he was diagnosed with leukemia. He was bleeding a lot and the doctors tried to do their best. He was brought here on Friday, and the doctors did their best,” he said during the meeting.
The grieving pastor was seen with his friends at the hospital, here DJ Mo seen comforting him.

Later, Kanyari admitted that he missed her a lot and that Betty died before he had the chance to tell her all the things he wanted to say.
He said:
“It hurts in ways I can’t explain. You left before I could say everything I wanted to. I still see you through our children’s smiles, and everything reminds me of you. We had our moments – hot and quiet – but it was all about family. I will carry your memories, your love, and your spirit forever. Rest in peace, you will always be remembered.”
