Cherargei Tells Samia Suluhu and Museveni to Strictly Punish Kenyan Activists: “Squeeze them”

Nandi Senator from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA), Samson Cherargeihas shouted at Kenyan human rights activists for spreading bad behavior in neighboring countries.

During the service at the PAG Church in Kapsabet on Sunday, November 9, he criticized some activists for interfering in the politics of foreign countries.

According to the UDA senator, some Kenyan activists have been involved in actions that affect the independence of those countries.

“I want to warn our activists who deal with other people’s issues. Stop spreading your bad behavior in other countries. Stop. Uganda and Tanzania are free countries,” Cherargei said.

Cherargei said that foreign countries should not tolerate people who use the name of human rights protection to intervene and try to destroy the security of the countries they visit.

Cherargei, who is the companion of the President William Rutosaid Kenyan activists who cause problems in other countries should be punished and sent back home.

He especially requested the President of Uganda Yoweri Museveni and the President of Tanzania Samia Suluhu to deal strictly with Kenyan activists.

“We thank President Museveni for agreeing to bring back Njagi and Oyoo. You cannot enter someone’s house to cause problems. I want to ask President Samia and Museveni, if you find activists who want to destroy the freedom of your country, crush them, bring them back home and finish them,” the Nandi senator said.

Meanwhile, the disappearance of Njagi and Oyoo was reportedly approved by General Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Leader of the opposition UgandaRobert Kyagulanyi, Bobi Wine, claimed that the activists were arrested at the military base under the orders of Muhoozi.

Muhoozi, who leads the Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF) and is an aide to President Yoweri Museveni, is alleged to have ordered the arrest and interrogation of Njagi and Oyoo due to their activities in Uganda.

Bobi also blamed Museveni’s administration for using government institutions to oppose the opposition and intimidate critics.

Why were Bob Njagi and Nicholas Oyoo kidnapped?

As reported, President Museveni admitted that the security agencies were behind the kidnapping of Njagi and Oyoo.

Speaking on UBC TV, Museveni admitted to being Njagi and Oyoo they were arrested by Ugandan intelligence units.

Njagi and Oyoo were released on Friday night, November 7, and handed over to the Kenyan authorities at the Busia border, 38 days after they were detained.

Hours after his release, Museveni revealed that the two were working with his arch-rival, Robert Kyagulanyi, known as Bobi Wine, as specialist rioters.

The Ugandan president revealed that Njagi and Oyoo were taken and kept in a freezer for several days before Kenyan leaders intervened to secure their freedom.
