Kisii: Bobasi County is in mourning following the death of Augustine Nyandoro Mose, who had volunteered to run for a parliamentary seat in the 2027 General Election.

According to MCA of Masige East Ward, Michael Motume, Nyandoro died on Sunday, November 9.
What caused the death of Augustine Nyandoro
He died while being treated for injuries he sustained a few days after being involved in a road accident in Nairobi.
Despite being rushed to hospital, his condition deteriorated, leading to his early death.
“I met Augustine last year, and he told me about his vision for Bobasi County. I encouraged him and wished him well,” said Motume. “On behalf of the people of Masige East Ward, my family, and myself, I offer my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Augustine. May God give you strength in this difficult period of grief,” he added.

Nyandoro, popularly known as Emamba, tried unsuccessfully to vie for MCA Bassi Bogetaario’s seat in the previous election.
His death has caused great sadness in the region, as many Kenyans described him as a leader with promise and a clear vision of development.
The death of the candidate was considered a great loss for the people of Bobasi, especially those who supported his leadership efforts.

Is JM Kariuki’s wife buried?
In other news, the wife of former Member of Parliament and prominent politician JM Kariuki, Terry Wanjiru, died after a long illness.
His grandchildren commended him for preserving Kariuki’s heritage in Nyandarua and supporting social welfare projects over the years. He will be buried in the Gilgil family farm today.
