Graduate Kisura Dies Few Hours After Returning Home

• Charity Chebet, died tragically less than 24 hours after graduating from nursing school
• Kidoso had celebrated receiving his diploma in nursing and midwifery in a happy event organized by his parents
• Sadly, a few hours after arriving home, he died with his brother while their parents survived death by needle stick

Family and friends are in mourning after their beautiful daughter died shortly after her graduation ceremony.

According to NTV Ugandaa family member said he called Charity’s parents at 4 p.m., and they told him they were on their way home after graduation.

“At 12 o’clock in the morning, I received a call from one of my brothers who told me that there had been a tragedy,” he said.

Parents survived the landslide that occurred on Saturday, November 1, in Kapchorwa District, Uganda, where four people lost their lives, including Charity and her brother.

A video shared online showed mud burying their family’s home, causing the deaths.

Fellow graduates have taken to social media to mourn his death, sharing hilarious videos from the graduation ceremony.

In one of the videos, Charity was seen happily taking a selfie with her friends at college.

• Blessed Osamz: “It is a great pain for a parent who tried to pay the fees for a child, then death happens suddenly. Rest in peace, dear.”
