Gloria Mwende was stabbed to death early SundayNovember 2, in what witnesses claimed was an argument stemming from romantic jealousy involving him with two other women he was with in a rented house after a night of pleasure.
An exciting video now shows the happy moments of the second year student, enjoying with his classmates who were celebrating the end of their practical training in the entertainment area..
Gloria was seen sitting, dancing in order while her friend captured the events on video.
There were drinks on the table, a sign that they were having fun with his friends.
The clip started with the message “last memories” (last memories), and he had three of his friends; they were all seen laughing, joking and enjoying their time together.
She was wearing the same clothes she was later seen wearing after Makindu was stabbed.
While mourning him, his friend who took the video also posted a picture of the young student and wrote a message of condolence.
“Rest in peace sister, Gloria you left too early, may your soul rest in peace. You were stabbed and died. Justice! Justice!” he wrote.
The disciples of Goshen mourn
Through their social networks, Gloria’s classmates mourned her death with emotional messages.
A few days ago, the student leader of the college also led his colleagues in mourning and honoring Gloria.
In a statement, he said:
“It is with great sadness and sorrow that I stand before you on behalf of the students of Goshen Medical and Technical College. We have lost a diligent student, Gloria Mwende Njiru, aged 22, a second year student. This case is under ongoing investigation,” he said.
The student leader described Gloria as a very enthusiastic student who was well liked by her friends and colleagues at the college.
Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, a student also revealed that they will all gather for prayers and a condolence session for one hour, from 11 pm to 12 pm, in the hall of the college, to honor Gloria.
“This will happen tomorrow, Thursday, November 6,” he said.
Initial reports about the death of Gloria Mwende
As reported by TUKO.co.ke, earlier reports indicated that three nursing students went to have fun at a popular entertainment area; when they returned to their room, a dispute broke out.
One of their friends, Mary Wanjiku, said they went on a night out to celebrate completing their practical training at Makindu Sub-County Hospital.
However, when he woke up the next morning, he realized that the worst thing had happened to his dear friend Gloria.
