According to the report Citizen DigitalTrans Nzoia detectives have focused their efforts on the accountant’s husband.
Police said that his partner, identified as Tobias Keller Mouko, may have important information that will help find Mokeira.
Tobias, who was arrested with one woman, was presented in the Court of Law Kitalewhere his case was heard.
The prosecution requested that he be given more time to be detained to give room for a thorough investigation into the matter.
“The police are asking to stop the suspect so that they can investigate the kidnapping case. These suspects are suspicious people,” said Nancy Rop, Resident Magistrate at the Kitale Court of Law.
Tobias was arrested after Mokeira’s family reported to the police station, following conflicting statements he gave about his wife’s whereabouts.
After considering all the arguments, the court decided that Mokeira’s husband should be detained for 10 more days.
“We will announce on the 14th,” added Rop.
Mokeira was last seen leaving their home in Kitale with her husband, Tobias, who later returned alone.
Wilkester Nyaboke, Mokeira’s mother, expressed her grief following her daughter’s disappearance.
“I am asking God to hear my prayers so that I can find Caro. Caro was the one who was taking care of me. I relied on her a lot,” said Nyaboke.
