Despite the alleged reports of withdrawing from the presidential race, Gachagua is expected to benefit greatly from the alliance.

Sources indicate he would receive half of all government nominations if Kalonzo wins the President William Ruto in the year 2027.

This provision has sparked public concern, with many Kenyans questioning the right to allocate a large part of the nomination in a country of more than 50 million citizens.

Critics say that Gachagua’s request reflects the structure of political rights and claims of division, especially due to his campaign for the unity of Mt. Kenya, which contributed to his removal from power.
