Video: Conjestina breaks her heart looking at the body of Kimani Mbugua Mochwari

Former Kenyan boxer Conjestina Achieng has traveled from Mombasa to Nairobi to attend the funeral of her late friend Kimani Mbugua.

The former boxer has been receiving treatment for his mental health at the Women’s Rehabilitation and Empowerment Center in Mombasa.

He was taken to a rehabilitation center by former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko.

Where will Kimani Mbugua be buried?

Mbugua will be buried today, Tuesday, October 28, in Maragua, Murang’a county.

The body of the former Citizen TV reporter was removed from the Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 28, before the burial, and Conjestina was seen grieving in the mortuary.

Were Conjestina and Kimani Mbugua friends?

Conjestina and Mbugua were both receiving treatment at the same rehabilitation center courtesy of Sonko. Mbugua died in a rehabilitation center on Tuesday, October 14.

His body was flown to Nairobi on October 21 and Sonko led family and friends to receive the body at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

Mbugua had spoken publicly about his long struggle with bipolar disorder, which affected his career and landed him in a rehab facility.

While Conjestina was still there, she traveled to Nairobi and Murang’a to attend Mbugua’s funeral.

Judging by the video that captured her in the morgue, Conjestina was distraught and saddened by Mbugua’s death.

What were Kimani Mbugua’s last words?

Earlier, Mbugua’s father, Dedan Kimathi, revealed his son’s last words before death.

Kimathi said his son said he had decided to die because he did not want to be a burden to anyone anymore.

Kimathi also revealed the message he left Mbugua before he died. You said: “He mentioned that ‘I have chosen to rest in God’s hands.’

Did Kimani Mbugua’s family accept his death?

The family said they had accepted his death and ruled out any possibility of foul play.

Kimathi said that investigations conducted by the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and records from the center confirmed the circumstances surrounding Mbugua’s death.
