Speaking on Obinna TV on Monday, October 27, Amisi suggested that some elected ODM leaders will fail in the upcoming 2027 General Election.
Will Gladys Wanga lose the 2027 gubernatorial vote?
The mock ODM MP mentioned the governor of Homa Bay Gladys Wangawho said he would not win in 2027.
According to Amisi, Wanga has been relying on the name of the former prime minister to win the last election.
“Wanga will not win. He has been winning because of Baba. He is my chairman; that is how I am concerned. He will not win. He will not win. With this kind of politics he is playing,” Amisi said.

Responding to reports that Wanga may be named as a running mate for the President William Ruto in 2027, Amisi said that such a combination will still be rejected by Kenyans.
Will Ruto choose Wanga as his running mate in 2027?
According to Amisi, Ruto will be rejected by Kenyans regardless of the political system.
“Whoever elects Ruto, Ruto goes home. So unless he wants to elect you, unless you have decided you will retire with Ruto, then you accept to be elected,” the ODM MP said.
At the same time, Amisi criticized the move to appoint Senator Oburu Oginga as acting ODM party leader.
He wondered why none of the three party deputies were named to fill Raila’s position.
Amisi claimed that President Ruto contributed to lobbying for the appointment of the Siaya senator for the 2027 election.
“I do not agree with ODM Party’s decision to appoint Oburu Odinga as acting party leader. What was the rush when we already had three deputies? I think Ruto has done some damage in terms of buying people close to the party!” The Saboti MP said.
