While the car was being cleaned, a man entered the car and stole a bag containing important advertising equipment, including laptops and hard drives with sensitive content.

CCTV footage shows the suspect, dressed in black, initially trying to open the car, but to no avail.

Then he left, unnoticed by those around. Moments later, he returned, managed to unlock the car, and took the bag before leaving without locking the door.

The footage shows him calmly walking away, occasionally glancing back, before disappearing into the crowd of pedestrians.

Etale distributed the photos publicly and asked the public to help identify the suspect.

“The man is seen walking carelessly as if he has not done anything. We would appreciate any help in identifying him,” he said.

Some Kenyans have reacted to the video, with many suggesting that ‘it was an inside job.’
