Kenyans including politicians have united with the family of the late former prime minister Raila Odinga to mourn his sudden death.

Did Pastor Ezekiel visit Raila’s grave?
Among those who visited Raila’s grave after his burial was Pastor Ezekiel Odero of New Life Prayer Centre.

Ezekiel was photographed wearing his usual white attire, holding a Bible in one hand while talking to Raila’s wife, Ida Odinga.
Odero was accompanied by his wife, Sarah Odero and Abala Wanga, who is the former Chief Executive Officer of the Lake Region.
After speaking with Ida, Pastor Ezekiel and his wife were shown heading to Kango Ka Jaramogi, where Raila’s body was laid to rest before leaving the area.
Abala took to his social media on Tuesday, October 21, to announce that he had accompanied Odero to visit Raila’s family.
“Later in the evening, I accompanied Pastor Ezekiel Odero to Kang’o Kajaramogi to offer condolences to the family of the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amollo Odinga, CGH. It was a heavy moment of prayer, reflection and respect for a great leader whose legacy continues to inspire the nation,” part of Abala’s statement said.
What did Kenyans think about Odero’s visit to Raila’s family?
Kenyans took to social media to praise the pastor for his efforts to comfort the family of the deceased.

Uhuru Kenyatta to visit Raila’s grave
In the previous event, the former president Uhuru Kenyatta he visited Raila’s grave the day after he was buried.

His visit was a personal gesture of respect for his close friend whose death inspired Uhuru.
Uhuru was caught on video at Raila’s grave, accompanied by his family members. He stopped for a moment of prayer before stretching his hands towards the grave.
After that he went through the Jaramogi cemetery, where he was taken through the historical pieces that were written there.
Uhuru then later wrote and signed a book of mourning where he promised to visit Raila’s grave regularly.
