It has been four days since the veteran politician Raila Odinga to be buried in Bondo, Siaya county.

Kenyans from various counties have continued to mourn the former prime minister, many of them visiting his family to offer condolences.

Elders from different communities have paid their respects in traditional ways at his grave, bringing bulls and other offerings.

The veteran politician’s house has continued to be vacant, where his widow, Mama Ida Odingaand their children have been welcoming guests with love.

Ruth OdingaRaila’s sister, has also been photographed several times with guests who came to comfort the family.

While many praised the hospitality of the visiting guests, some people noticed Ruth’s husband from Ghana, Nana Busia, sitting next to her.

The two were seen sitting together on blue plastic chairs in their house.

In one of the photos, Nana was wearing a black coat and black sneakers, smiling while looking at her phone.

Ruth, on the other hand, was wearing black pants, a black and white striped blouse, and shoes, and she was also looking intently at her phone.

The photos have given Kenyans a rare glimpse into Ruth’s family life, something she has been hiding for a long time, as she has often shown her political face in public.

When did Ruth Odinga introduce her husband?

Nana made a rare public appearance during the ODM leader’s funeral service when he was introduced by Ruth.

He amused the mourners when he said that Nana was his right hand, a gift from his late brother.

Social media was flooded with comments from people who were still they talk about Nana’s clothes during the funeralwhile others question their culture.

Paul Ocele said:

“Say hello to our son-in-law, we love him very much. The best father was the one who was always right, and even in death, he was the one who gave it to you.”

Joshuah Okal jokingly asked:

“Is the social distance still observed after the corona, or are my eyes deceiving me? Don’t be too far away please.”

Emmanuel Kavi wrote:

“Does it mean that in West Africa a man can stay with his in-laws for as long as he wants without any problems?”

Milton Kivairu added:

“They will just get used to it. The funeral has brought them together, please let them go.”

What did Ruth Odinga say after Raila’s funeral?

The Kisumu women’s representative called for unity between the Luo and Kikuyu communities.

Ruth recounted her childhood when she lived in the White House, noting that she and the former President Uhuru Kenyatta they were close friends.

Can anyone visit Raila Odinga’s grave?

TUKO.co.ke reported that Raila Odinga Junior encouraged all Kenyans who want to visit his father’s grave to do so.

His statement came after some ODM leaders warned those who criticized their late leader against visiting the grave, following hurtful statements from the Nyeri governor.

However, Junior invited all Kenyans to come and pay their last respects to his father and thanked the Kikuyu elders who visited their family.
