Raila Odinga He died on October 15 in India, where he was receiving treatment. It was reported that he collapsed while on his morning walk.

His body was returned home on October 16, which was followed by a public viewing at the stadium Kasarani.

The government also announced that October 17 was a holiday, which was the same day his state funeral was held.

The veteran politician had left a will which indicated that he should be buried three days after his death, which created a buzz online.

At his funeral in Bondo, his friends, both local and foreign, flew to give him a respectful send-off.

Jesca Magufuli visited Raila’s daughter?

Among the attendees was Magufuli’s daughter, Jesca, who stayed until the funeral ended and even found time to connect with Raila’s last born, Winnie.

Magufuli and Raila were great friends, and when the Tanzanian leader died, Raila was among the people who mourned him.

Jesca shared a cute photo of herself and Winnie in black while posing for the camera.

Winnie was wearing a black t-shirt and trousers, while Jesca was wearing a black cotton shirt and trousers to match.

When he shared the photo on his Instastory, he also compared it to Raila’s favorite song, Jamaican Farewell.

What to know about Raila’s death

The media that attended to Raila, Dr Fons revealed that they tried every means to keep him alive, but he did not survive.

Shortly after his death was confirmed, a video emerged showing his body being carried into a mortuary.

A video also emerged showing his final moments, walking around the facility, wearing a hospital gown.

How did Winnie praise Raila?

Winnie was seen fighting back tears as she read her father’s eulogy at his funeral before his body was laid to rest.

He also thanked all the people who worked for his father and mentioned them by name, and how they worked together.

He also hinted at returning to Kenyan politics while using the President William Ruto subtle message.
