In an impressive show of solidarity, Tanzanian divers have sent emotional condolences to Kenyans, recognizing Raila’s contribution to the nation’s politics and development.
Did Tanzanian divers honor Raila?
In an emotional scene, the Tanzanian divers held placards with messages of comfort and support for Kenyans in this time of sorrow.
Each diver was seen in the water holding a placard, displaying touching words before submerging again, a sign of their respect for Raila.
The messages included recognition of Raila’s importance and calls to continue his legacy of peace, love and justice.
A message from Tanzanian divers to Kenyans
The first diver held up a sign that read
“A heavy message for the whole world.”
After that others followed with the following messages:
“Today we mourn a brave leader.”
“Rest in peace Raila Odinga.”
“Your spirit lives on in the hearts of millions.”
“Let’s not cry for him only with tears,”
“But by continuing his message of peace, love and justice.”
The final banner, decorated with the Kenyan flag, was held by one diver as two others joined him, concluding the tribute with the words:
“With love from Tanzania.”
The touching honor touched many Kenyans, who expressed their gratitude and comfort for this act of closeness.
Tanzanian content creator, Yess Jamal, shared the video on Instagramwriting an emotional message:
“To the people of Kenya, and all who mourn the death of Raila Amolo Odinga, we offer our sincere condolences. His contribution to the nation will not be forgotten. From Kenya 🇰🇪 to every corner of the continent, his vision will never die.”

How did Jesca Magufuli mourn Raila?
Earlier, Jesca Magufuli, the daughter of the former president of Tanzania, John Magufuli, shared her condolences to Raila.
He described the late politician as a father and guardian.
In a video from earlier this year, Raila was seen blessing Jesca on her political journey, wishing her success in the Tanzanian elections.
Jesca also attended Raila Odinga’s national funeral there Bondo.
