Nairobi, Kenya: Maurice Ogeta, Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) stalwart who passed away, Raila Odingahas said that working under that leader has helped him get to where he is today.

According to Ogeta, he has been with Raila for 18 years, and their relationship has grown from a casual friendship to that of father and son.
During that period, they had good times when they traveled abroad, watched football matches, and even watched Raila participate in various sports.
There were also difficult and dangerous times during the protestwhere Raila faced the danger of death face to face.
In the video that shows the last term of the former prime ministerOgeta is seen walking faithfully behind him.
“The power of that relationship cannot be underestimated; it has brought me to a leadership position,” he said.
“In the 18 years I worked with you, I have never known another person who loved Africa like you, except for Nelson Mandela. You have left a legacy of fighting for a better Kenya, and you will be remembered for a long time,” he added.
