During the ODM leader’s funeral service, his grandson, Raila Junior’s son, dressed in white, went to his grandmother Ida.
The loving lady sat the young man on her lap and they talked for a while before she went down. Ida, who was sitting next to Rutodirected the young man to shake hands with the president.
The young man approached Ruto, and he could be seen talking while hugging.

During his tributes, Raila Junior revealed that his father was blessed with five grandchildren; three boys and two girls.
“These are the grandchildren of the Father; Saphie, Alai, Seniah, Lion, and Jaramogi,” he said.
The widow of the deceased introduced the four grandchildren of the deceased, Saphie, Seniah, Lion and Jaramogi, and revealed that Fidel’s son, Alai, had not yet arrived at the funeral.
