Raila died after suffering a heart attack during a morning walk in India.

Did Ruth Odinga cry when Raila was welcomed home?
The plane carrying Raila’s remains landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at half past three in the morning local time. Kenya Airwaysflight RAO001, which received the honor of being sprinkled with water.
A crowd of mourners had filled the runway, many trying to cope with the loss of the legendary political leader.
Raila’s sister, Ruth Odinga, who was with him in India when he lost his life, seemed to suffer a lot emotionally when his body was taken out of the plane.
He was seen standing next to the Chief Secretary of the Council of Ministers Stay Mudavadiwho held her hand to comfort her as they got off the plane.
At one point, Ruth could not control her emotions and broke down crying, shaking her head and whispering in a low voice, clearly suffering from grief, while Mudavadi tried to comfort her.
After that, he was seen making the sign of the cross before leaving the place where he was witnessing the events.

After a video showing Ruth’s grief went viral, many Kenyans wrote messages of comfort and condolence.

What you need to know about Raila’s funeral
After Raila’s body arrives in Kenya, the procession is expected to transport it to the Lee Funeral Home (Lee Funeral Home) before being taken to the Parliament Buildings for citizens to pay their respects.
President William Ruto announced that Raila will be buried with national honors on Friday, October 17which is declared to be national holiday.
Mourners will have another opportunity to pay their respects on the day of Saturday, October 18in Moi Stadium in Kisumubefore the last funeral service was held on Sunday, October 19.

In other news about Raila’s tragic death, an emotional scene took place in Mumbai when PCS Mudavadi received Raila’s remains.
He confronted Raila’s youngest daughter, Winnie Odingawho appeared to be suffering emotionally.
Mudavadi took on the kinship role, hugging him lovingly to comfort him after his father’s death.
