The coffin of the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leader had unique features that honored his role in shaping the political environment in the country.

How was Raila Odinga’s coffin?

The coffin of the political veteran had the country’s emblem, with two lions symbolizing protection, holding two spears and a traditional East African shield.

Shields and spears symbolize unity and the protection of freedom. Raila’s box was also tied with an orange belt.
