Raila died in India, where he was receiving treatment, and collapsed during his morning walk before being rushed to a nearby hospital.
Following the news of his death, the President William Ruto sent a Kenyan delegation to India to bring back his remains.
How did Kasmuel mourn Raila Odinga?
However, Kasmuel, while mourning Raila, leaked their chat where he explained what they were talking about.
In the screenshot, he tried to call Raila, but the politician did not answer his phone. However, he responded and apologized for missing the activist’s phone.
“I am sorry because of the pressure, I could not immediately respond to your inquiry regarding the two invitations. My answer is yes, you should accept both invitations because it will allow you to share our experience with others and also learn from them,” Raila said.
He also shared a photo of himself with Raila and accompanied it with a moving quote honoring the veteran politician.
“For an eternal gentleman, Father. I will miss you very much, my friend. Thank you for saving my life last year. Thank you for making me the person I am today. Fare you well, my forever hero,” he said.
