He suggested the country be changed to Raila Odinga for recognizing its significant contribution to the nation.

“If possible, let the country be changed from Kenya to Raila Odinga, because he has been uniting the country. We urge President William Ruto to make sure this is done,” he said.

Some expressed their disbelief in Raila’s death, expressing their concerns about how the country would be without its presence.

“Without a father, we can’t, and Kenya can’t. I feel like this is a nightmare. Who will hold hands like Kenyans? I’m very hurt,” another Nairobi resident said.
