Sadness after a Kisii man alleged

A black cloud of sadness and shock has hit Nyakeburo village in Nyarabari a few Kisii County following the death of a woman Ajuza Anna Ochenge.

Anna is reportedly losing lives in the hands of her husband, Ochenge, following a family dispute.
The old man is reportedly attacking and beating his beloved wife, causing his sad death.

Was Anna Ochenge in a violent marriage?
According to reports, the couple had had long -term problems, often causing controversy that turned into domestic violence.
Neighbors revealed that Anna was often left with physical injuries after the confrontation.

Nancy Moraa, one neighbor, explained that Ochenge and his wife were often arguing about the money they were receiving from the government as seniors.
“Ochenge spends all his money and starts claiming Anna. If she refuses to give her, she attacks her. We were wondering why she was not satisfied with her and let her Anna,” Said Moraa.

Moraa expressed his concern about the increase in domestic violence, saying they were often women suffering or seriously injured.
“Anna and her husband had many conflicts in their marriage, and now she has killed her,” he added.

The frustrated neighbor explained that Ochenge cleaned his wife after death, put his body on the bed, and covered it before heading to the field.
Another narrowly narrated how she found Anna in bed dying.
“His body was very cold; he was already dead,”Said the neighbor.

He added that Ochenge was forbidding Anna to have friends and would attack her every time she saw her talking to other women.
“I touched her body and realized she was dead. Anna suffered a lot. Her husband didn’t want to talk to other women.”

What did Ochenge say after allegedly killing his wife?
According to a neighbor who found him in the field, Ochenge claimed that his wife was preparing tea when he asked him.
He said that Anna would bring her breakfast in the field later.

Later when the neighbors discovered Anna’s body in bed, Ochenge defended herself saying that when she returned home she found her wife lying on the floor, helping her put her in bed.
“The woman’s body was very cold. In fact, man cannot fall and be suddenly cold. In my view, Ochenge must be at night,” Said the neighbor.

Wilfred Ogwoka blamed the elders of Nyakeburo village for ignoring domestic violence, saying they did not investigate such cases when they were reported.
Ogwoka said that Anna was grown up the day before and even met in the market, where she bought Omena that she didn’t get a chance to cook.
“Anna has been living in fear for a long time. His son, Geuma, was helping her, but unfortunately he died not long ago,” He said.

Residents, disgusted with the brutal incident, attacked Ochenge and wounded him before police intervened and rescued him.
The elder was arrested and is currently in the hands of the police while an investigation into Anna’s death is underway.
