How the Kibra MP was publicly disrespectful
It was Thursday, October 9, when Orero met unexpectedly with a CNN journalist born in Kenya, Larry Madowowho had blocked the MP’s car that was driving in the wrong line on the road in Nairobi.
Larry, with a strong position, refused to let the car pass, which made Orero start to show offensive on the road.

He was heard insulting Madowo with harsh words and threatening him that he would send the complaint to the President William Ruto.
Orero had a proud driver who also added derogatory remarks against Larry.
“Take it to Ruto, take it completely, waste waste,” They were heard saying.
The video spread quickly online and made Orero severely criticized, with Kenyans following his social networking pages to rebuke him.
Kenyans rebuked Peter Orero
Angry Kenyans poured into the MP’s page, blaming him for expressing the patriarchy and pride that has been a reputation for many politicians in the country.
Orero was criticized for lacking a personality as a nominee, a representative of the people, and even a former high school teacher who served as a disciplinarian, but is now showing lawlessness behavior without shame.
Many expected he would apologize, but instead, Orero expressed stubbornness.
In joking, he posted on his Facebook page a message that used the same word he used to insult Larry in the video.
He attached a picture of him as he climbed trees to celebrate the Environment Day on October 10, and wrote:
“Take care of your environment, wash trash. Happy environment day!”
He thought using an environmental statement would help him cover his mistake, but that was not the case.
Immediately, Kenyans attacked him fiercely in the comments, reminding him that his behavior was not eligible for the leadership position given to him by the people.
They rebuked him that his parliamentary seat exists on behalf of the public and that he did not take himself to parliament without their votes.
Some voters in his constituency threatened to punish him in the 2027 elections.
As the comments were pouring in large quantities and anger, Orero was forced to turn off the comment section to prevent further attacks.
