The Royal Media -owned payment center announced the cancellation of the expected interviews until the end of the hour.

Communication that was shared in the official pages of Citizen TV social networking did not immediately disclose the reasons for the decision.

Orengo was expected to discuss many issues, ranging from rumors about his health to the sudden change of his heart to support the President William Ruto After a series of severe criticism.

As previously reported, the head of Siaya County removed the fear that Raila was sick, explaining that the former prime minister was in good health and was only resting from the public.

Last week, rumors about Raila’s health gained power after some Kenyans on social media claimed he was hospitalized at a Nairobi hospital.

The rumors were faster at ODM, in a statement to the media, when it announced the sudden postponement of the 20th anniversary in Mombasa.

The festivities were scheduled for three days, from October 9 to October 12, in the coastal city of Kenya.

That cancellation sparked rumors about the party’s well -being, concerns that the party’s chief leadership has ignored and cited as propaganda aimed at disturbing them from focusing on real issues affecting Kenyans.

Raila’s communications director, Dennis Onyango, denied allegations that the Orange party leader had been dismissed.

In a statement to the media, Onyango blamed opposition leaders led by Rigathi Gachagua and Kalonzo Musyoka for funding the propaganda of Raila’s health for their personal political benefit.

Similar allegations were made by other ODM leaders, including Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, Party Deputy Leader and Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir, Party Chairman and Homa Bay Governor Gladys Wanga and Senator Moses Kajwang, among others.

However, Kalonzo and Gachagua dismissed the allegations saying that it was neither “bacteria nor the virus” to cause health problems.
