Bomet: Woman, 25, allegedly stabbing her boyfriend and killing her cause

25 -year -old woman from the village of Samoget in the county Bomet He has allegedly stabbed his boyfriend and killed him following a dispute over the mobile phone.

According to Bomet East County Police Commander Michael Singa, the suspect, Faith Cherono, allegedly visited his girlfriend at his home on Tuesday, October 7, to demand a return to his mobile phone.

What led to Bomet’s death?

It is said that a dispute broke out between the two, although they later agreed to resolve the issue later that day.

Citizen Digital reports that Cherono allegedly attacked his girlfriend, Emmanuel Kiprono, 33, and killed him by hitting a sword in the head, despite their previous agreement.

Police officers visiting the scene found a Kiprono body, which had a large part cut behind the head.

Following the incident, Cherono escaped the scene and crossed the Narok County, where he later surrendered to authorities at the Tendwet police station.

Meanwhile, Kiprono remnants were taken to the Tenwek Hospital’s mortuary for a corpse examination.

The suspect has been arrested as the investigation is underway. Police have launched an investigation into the tragic incident to identify the circumstances of the death.

In other news, Lieutenant Dr. Samson Haruna, a military medical officer who was given a new job from Jos, lost his life following a domestic dispute that turned out to be serious.

The incident took place on September 22, 2025, when his wife, a nurse, allegedly confronted her on suspicion of infidelity.

According to news sources within the fort, the interview slowed down and led to the suspect allegedly watering her husband’s gasoline and burning her.

Haruna died from his injuries, causing sadness within the military community.

Military authorities and police confirmed the arrest and detained of the suspect, while waiting to be brought to court.
