The family of Reuben Waithaka, an elder from Kiambu, who disappeared miraculously in the United States (US), has shared new information about his situation.

Waithaka and his wife traveled to Timberline, Calera, Alabama, to witness the graduation ceremony of their grandson when the tragedy occurred.
According to his wife, the 72 -year -old left home on May 15, looking confused, and decided to follow him.
Half, she realized she had forgotten to close the door and return to do so, but when she finished, she could no longer follow her husband.
He said that he must have been walking very quickly, and he could not find him.

Elaine explained that her family was silent about the matter because it had been difficult to handle.
He said they have not yet found the Waithaka and have not lost hope despite constant anxiety and pain.
“By October 15, it will be five months. It’s been very difficult, as it feels like we are living in a terrible movie. We don’t know what happened because someone can disappear like that, and we have no answers. So when people come to me they ask me, I feel so bad that I have no answers,” He said.
Elaine said that despite his long waiting, his family remains firm in prayer, holding the faith and hope of finding him.
He asked his followers in tears to pray for their family, adding that it was not easy for them since his disappearance.
“I’ve been trying to be strong for a long time, and I just want to know where my grandfather is. He added, with tears in tears.
Elaine expressed hope that his grandfather was safe and, wherever he was, that he had food and was okay.
