Is Gachagua Fearing Fred Matiang’i?
In connection with that, former Nyeri MP in Ngunjiri Wambugu shot the former deputy president, who (Ngunjiri) still holds that he should not lead Mount Kenya.
Ngunjiri has been praising Matiang’i, who says he may be better off being president, joining Gachagua.
Gachagua and Matiang’i are members of the opposition coalition and have all announced their intention to take away President William Ruto in the next 2027 elections.
However, despite showing their unity in front of their followers, Gachagua and Matiang’i have been said to be different behind the curtain.
In his assessment of things, Ngunjiri felt that the former deputy president was not concerned about the arrival of Matiang’i to Mount Kenya.
According to the former MP, Matiang’i’s measures seem quiet but strategic and seem to threaten the fortress that Gachagua has built on Mount Kenya.
