It is believed that several ideas have been considered, including changing the stamp slope to take thousands of seats or go with a more common update that would cause less discomfort.

The Labor Committee was set up by Arsenal last year to investigate the possibility of any renewal. According to the inquiry into The Guardian, negotiations are still ongoing and no decision has been taken so far.

What field will Arsenal move?

It is unclear if the biggest renovation would have forced Arsenal to move their matches, which they could avoid when they left Highbury.

However, there have been reports that the Gunners will consider moving to Wembley Stadium while repairs are underway.
