Kabuchai MP, constituencies Kalasinga has voiced his concerns about his safety, citing threats of his life and increasing political tension in the parliamentary constituency towards the November 27 elections.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, October 6, Kalasinga claimed that violence and hooliganism were rampant in the ward of Chwewe/Kabuchai, where he and the Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Wetang’ula are leaving.
According to the MP, the chaos is allegedly organized by a special political party.
He also claimed that the deputy leader of the party had publicly acknowledged the violence during the membership conference held at the home of the county officer, but no legal action was taken against him.
Did Wetang’ula threaten the provinces in Kalasinga?
Kalasinga accused Wetang’ula of making threats in the local language during a meeting with Ford Kenya members in his Kanduyi residence.
“He said, ‘In this by -election, constituencies in Kalasinga, in this by -election, we will destroy the elections after he has crossed the overseas.’ I don’t know if he meant to cross to heaven or Uganda. The leader of my party, you can’t get rid of this. It must be defined, ” He said.
He called on Inspector General Douglas Kanja to quickly find out and interpret the video clips of the allegations and publicly explain if Kalasinga’s safety is at stake.
Will Kalasinga states leave Ford Kenya?
The MP also expressed frustration with what he referred to as an attempt to undermine his parliamentary position and the Speaker.

“He brought me down to the ground that, according to him, I do wrong in the Assembly Hall. I respect you very much, and I still respect you. Please respect me. Kalasinga said.
Expressing his contributions to parliament, Kalasinga cited his opposition to the 2023 and 2024 Finance Bills and opposed the lease of Nzoia’s sugar company, which he claims was handed over for 30 years without publicly exposing the contract.
He said questioning the bills seemed to be disrespectful. The constituencies have narrated his promise to Ford Kenya since 1992, suggesting the intention of holding the position of deputy party leader.
“I have fought a lot of war within this party because I refuse to keep up with the values I believe. he added.
Kalasinga also criticized the law enforcement trends, claiming that Ford Kenya candidates had been attacked and detained, with some incidents confirmed by local police officers.

He warned that if the steps were not taken, he was ready to submit the matter to the independent police (IPOA).

Other news, Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ongo Were was killed several weeks after he publicly stated his life.
Eyewitnesses reported that two attackers on a motorcycle approached his car and fired a shot closely.
At the same time, police referred to the attack as organized and arrested several suspects, including his former bodyguard.
Prior to his murder, he criticized the escalation of violence in his parliament and claimed that foreign forces had disrupted public incidents.
