Siaya – Some Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) leaders have accused opposition leaders of taking the opportunity to be invisible Raila Odinga for political reasons.

Led by ODM Chairman and Governor of Homa Bay, Gladys Wanga, the leaders accused the former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua by spreading rumors about Raila’s health.
Why do ODM leaders blame Gachagua?
Speaking on Sunday, October 5, the governor of Homa Bay mentioned Gachagua as a dividing politician and who aims to mislead Kenyans about the health status of the former prime minister.
“Opposition is broken because of a man named Gachagua; Said carbohydrates.
In turn, the MP of Kisumu West, Rosa Buyu, accused Gachagua of using Raila’s health status as a political instrument.
According to Buyu, the former Deputy President should not make Raila his agenda towards the 2027 general election.
“Raila Odinga cannot be his agenda if he wants to lead this country. What does he tell Kenyans what does he want to do to this nation? Talking about Raila being sick … who told Raila he was sick?” Asked Buyu.
Should Kenyans pray for Raila Odinga?
Speaking aside, Suba South MP, Caroli Omondi, called on Christians to pray for Raila to recover quickly.
During the time of Rang’ala, Omondi said the ODM leader was recovering from the hospital and that Kenyans should pray for him.
“I urge all Christians of all denominations across Kenya to offer special requests to our leader, Raila Odinga, to recover quickly, to get good health and strength. Said Omondi.

What did Gachagua say about Raila’s claim to be sick?
Initially, the former Deputy President vehemently denied allegations that involved him and the Wiper party leader, Kalonzo Musyokaand rumors about Raila’s health.
Speaking Machakos on Monday, October 6, Gachagua accused the Orange Party of pulling their names in baseless words about ODM leader’s health rather than addressing real issues.
He asked how he and Kalonzo would be associated with Raila’s condition, questioning whether they were parasite.
The Wiper leader also denied the allegations, citing it as a political tactic to convert attention from the ODM internal divisions.
He emphasized that he has no interest in ODM internal conflicts, especially considering his long history of political cooperation with Raila.
