Ruto’s assistant, Farouk Kibet, appointed local MP, Janet Sitienei, instantly for failing to prioritize resources in improving the schools despite allocating funding from the National Treasury to develop the State Parliament (NG-CDF).

Why is Farouk Kibet angry with Turbo MP

Farouk visited the Adventist Primary School of Kosachei, whose classes are muddy and have a clay floor.

“I am not happy with how this school is seen in this century. We must agree that this kind of life is not good. Farouk said.

He criticized the MP for serving his needs at the expense of service to Turbo voters.

“As a leader, you have a responsibility to help your people. The problem is that when people are elected, they become great, and the people they choose are second. The challenges facing our people should be resolved,” Farouk said.

He argued that the environment puts children in poor condition compared to those in a better environment.

The president’s aide noted that such lack of equality makes it difficult for students to be competitive.

“We want our children to climb the highest in education. But they will not compete with others from the best school and the environment,” He said.

What challenge the Kosachei Adventist primary school is?

The rainy season is a dream for students at school.

According to the headmaster, Methusellar Bett, rainwater flows into the classroom, and students are often required to report too early to pour water first before starting their day studies.

The situation is not better, no matter what. They are forced to study in muddy classes and rain.

“We have a lot of challenges especially during the spring, rainwater reaches classrooms, students are forced to report early to pour water into their classes,” Said Methusellah.

The school leadership revealed that since its inception 2018, its efforts to seek support from the local MP have not been fruitful.

They have been forced to deal with poor infrastructure so far.

“We have never received any help since 2018 when the school was registered, we have been going to office including our MP for help, but without success, our children are in a very bad situation. Said Wislon Sambai, Chairman of the School Committee.

Farouk gave KSh 5 million to improve infrastructure at the school.
