How did anestine Dzidza Tunji die?
According to the news, Anestine passed away from the injuries she suffered while receiving strokes.
The tragic incident occurred on Friday, September 19, at Gongoni Primary School in Kilifi South County.
The suspect allegedly ordered students 8th grade to bow down before punishing strokes.
The student was reportedly punished for failing to answer his teacher’s question and was among the knees because of it.
His classmates said that they were later beaten by the teacher.
This happened during the last lesson of the day, just before the students went to games. Anestine was among the students who received strokes.
He returned home later that afternoon, and began to complain of severe headaches that exacerbated the weekend.
In an attempt to find out the essence of his pain, his family took him to Kilifi County hospital for treatment.
Despite many medical efforts to rescue him, Anestine died on September 25.
Anestine Dzidza’s family wants the police to intervene
In seeking justice, the deceased’s family reported the counsel to the Directorate of Criminal Investigation two days after the death.
According to a Citizen Digital report, the teacher was called by police on Wednesday, October 1, and detained at Mtampa police station.
Detectives said that they would ask for additional court orders to prevent the suspect as an investigation into the case was underway.
Kilifi South South County Police Commander Hassan Kolyi confirmed the arrest of the teacher involved.
Kocale said that the detectives were looking for illustrations to determine the open relationship between the punishment and the death of the student.
The Police Force has stated that they will go to court to give them more time to investigate the case.
