Despite allegations by his close allies that he is busy and good, former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has been publicly appearing for almost two weeks, thus raising questions about his health.
The absence of the ODM leader is especially evident as the party is preparing to celebrate 20 years since its inception.
The last time Raila appeared in public was Monday, September 22, at the Argyle Grand Hotel for the ODM parliamentary group.
He has now missed important occasions, such as handing over the selection certificates to ODM candidates for the upcoming elections.
According to reports, Raila went overseas for treatment a few weeks ago and later admitted to Nairobi Hospital, where medical experts recommended to reduce his political activities.
However, its closest allies, including a minority leader in the National Assembly Junet Mohamed, denied the reports.
Junet claimed to talk to Raila and was on his way to meet him.
“He is in the gym. How can you say he doesn’t feel good?” He set.
Raila is still one of Kenya’s top political leaders at the age of 80.

The Employment and Labor Relations Court (ELRC) has decided that the employee has the right to apply and take a year’s leave when his employer does not allow.
Judge Monica Mbaru of Mombasa’s Ello said that the employer is required by the Employment Act to plan and allow workers to take their annual leave.
“Punishing an employee for taking an annual leave is an unfair behavior,” The judge said.
