The event backed by Alexis Ohanian will return for a second year at Icahn Stadium in New York on October 10.
This year’s version will consist of six song events: 100m restrictions, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and a mile event plus one of the field, long jumps, which will take place in Times Square.
Faith Kipyegon He will lead the competition, with the world champion four times the 1500 -meter race scheduled to compete in a little mile.
Kipyegon was also a star attraction last year, where he scored his season with a lot of run and won the 1500m race, several weeks after winning another Olympic crown in Paris.
Athlos is collaborating with the Cash App
The women’s race alone has confirmed that it has partnered with the Cash App, which will make sure the athletes receive their money immediately.
“We are partnering with the Cash App as our official payment partner to bring the easiest future to track and present – on the song and the end – to introduce a new structure of how the work is turning into a payment,” It read the official statement.
“This year, the Cash App enables the immediate payment of gifts to all eligible athletes when the results are confirmed.”
The move is seen as a direct blow to Michael Johnson’s Grand Slam song, which has not yet paid athletes despite major promises.
How much will Kipyegon get if he breaks the world record?
Most importantly, the Cash App has promised a large amount of $ 250,000 (KSh 32.3 million) for any woman who will break the world record on the October 10 event.
“The administrator is going too much: instant payment? World Record Bonus $ 250K!?!? Athlos changed the game again,” Ohanian said on his X account.

What is the world record for women’s mile race?
The current world record is held by Kipyegon himself after running 4: 07.64 in Monaco in 2023.
He ran faster than 4: 06.91 in June this year during the Breaking4 bold trial, but this is not recognized as a world record because the race was not run within world athletic criteria.
Who will Kipyegon face?
The mother of one child will face American Nikki Hiltz, Jessica Hull, who won the bronze in the 1500m race in Tokyo with her colleague Susan Ejore.
Also on the list are the second fastest woman in history, Gudaf Tsegay and Freweyni Hailu.
