Political and digital strategies expert Pauline Njoroge has addressed recent allegations claiming he was prevented from greeting former president Uhuru Kenyatta During the Jubilee National Members.

The controversy started when the video showed Njoroge approaching Independence at a public event.

In the video, Njoroge, a prominent follower of the party, was seen walking towards the former head of state with a woman wearing a black dress.

But before he reached him, security officials quickly entered and put a barrier between him and the former president.

The video starts with a woman walking with Njoroge, who is suspended, and then a strategic specialist is stopped a few seconds later.

The incident occurred in front of members and cameras that were following the event, and raised various emotions on social networks, where the video was widely circulated.

It is still unclear why the officers suspended him, but one thing is clear: he got his time with the retired head of state while the two seemed to hug each other.

Njoroge has denied the allegations spread online. He explained that his view freely was not prevented and that the video did not correctly represent the context of the interaction.

A Njoroge fan showed humor when he was blocked by guards and wrote:

“Are you dismissed to greet the retired president?”

He vehemently denied allegations that were circulated on social networks, writing:

“Who chased me?”
