The father of the college student who died several months after joining the college shed more light on the last times of his son.

Emmanuel Mwingisi passed away on Thursday, September 18, following a short illness and led to his family being dissolved.
The young man had a health condition, which began shortly after joining the college in June 2025.

Speaking to TUKO.co.ke, his father, Francis Chweya, narrated his efforts and his intention to seek medical help for his son.
“We thought it was malaria. I took her to several private hospitals to find out the cause of her illness. The stomach started to swell and bite. After a while, her legs also started to swell. She couldn’t eat, drink, or go to the washing room. She couldn’t stand for long and needed help. She was always in pain.
I planned to come to Nairobi for further health examination. I was in Nairobi County at the time, working in the liner area. I was following their journey, asking them where they often reached, ” He remembered.
Chweya said that day her son drank more water than in the past which he did not understand.
How did Emmanuel Mzipi die?
When they arrived KisumuMwanisi said she was feeling dizzy and asked her sister to let her get out of the car to stretch.
“He helped him get him out of the car, grabbed him and walked with him for a couple of meters before he left him with his hand. He walked a few steps, then he fell and died instantly. Chweya said.
The father of seven children narrated the precious words of the late son, who continued to hope about life despite his illness.
He was always looking forward to recovering, returning to his studies, looking for his dream work, and helping his family.

“He always told me that he would get better and go back to school, work hard, pass his exams, get his dream work, and help the family. He always told me not to worry about him and his health, since he would soon recover. Chweya added.
The 54 -year -old could not fully express his sadness and pain after the death of his son.
He will still conduct a corpse investigation, which has been delayed due to lack of money.
