The owner of the Audi car could not restrain himself from seeing his SUV car ashes as the criminal operators burn it following the accident.

Why Aud SUV was burned on Thika Road

Eyewitnesses say the operators gathered after one of them was reportedly dropped and killed instantly by a car near Kenyatta University.

The car was trapped by a crowd of bodaboda people, who immediately consumed it.

Firefighters from Ruiru Municipality emerged to reduce the damage, but they were late.

They extinguished the fire, and unveiled the shell of a white SUV car stuck in the middle of the road.

The incident was reported following an increase in attacks against drivers driven by motorists in Nairobi.

The dirty trend of bodaboda

In recent days, operators have been arrested for consuming public transportation and private vehicles after the accident.

Following the situation, police for the commander intervened to control the fraudulent operators’ cases to take the law into their own hands.

Earlier this month, Nairobi Regional Police Commander George Seda read a violent act for the operators, stressing that law enforcement officers would not remain silent while the operators continue to violate the law.

Seda wondered why the rider would join in the rebellion against a case involving one colleague. He urged the operators to follow legal procedures in cases of accidents and other incidents on the road.

“There is no solidarity when it comes to the use of the law, the law comes to one person. Only one rider was hit. Seda said.

What requirements did the police place in the bodaboda?

Those operators were required to sign up in SACCOS Selected, wearing special uniforms of different colors for their steps, obtaining work registrations and numbers approved by the National Transport and Security Authority (NTSA) that have their own operating facilities and counties.

The operators were also required to obtain a valid license, police permit certificates, insurance and two safety hats.

Boda boda parties welcomed the measures, promising to implement follow -up.

Boda Boda Security Association President Kevin Mubadi warned the boda operators that everyone would be presented to deal with justice if they were involved in illegal activities.

Mubadi announced that steps would be planned and the operators to be registered.

Compression would be frequently carried out to identify criminals involved in firearms and other crimes.

The previous one followed the proposal by one of the presidential advisers William Ruto to cancel the boda boda industry.

Professor Makau Mutua, who advises Ruto on constitutional issues and human rights, called on the government to ban low -cost motorcycles across Kenya.

He referred to the bodaboda culture that he referred to as a breach of the peace on the road and the danger to public stability.

In Mutua’s opinion, the industry had turned into a national disgrace, undermining the country’s status.

He proposed to completely ban the bodaboda within capitals and cities.
