Emmanuel Wanyonyi has won the 800 -meter gold medal for men in the 2025 World Cup.
The Olympic champion set a record for a 1: 41.86 champion and defeated defending champion Marco Arop, who spent 1: 41.95 and finished third, with Djamel Sedjati who won the bronze medal at the Olympics taking the silver medal.
Kenya has now won six gold medals, with the only men at the man athelete winning gold in Kenya.
