African experts have welcomed the Global Governance Initiative (GGI) proposed by President Xi Jinping at the “Shanghai Cooperation Organization Plus” conference held in Tianjin on September 1, stating that it has come at the right time.

At a conference organized by CGTN Swahili in Nairobi, Chairman of the Department of Diplomacy and International Education at the University of Nairobi, Professor Patrick Maluki, said that GGI completes another major proposal for China – the International Development Program (GDI), the International Security Program (GUS) and the International Civil Society.
He added that for African countries and southern countries, these four plans represent the continuation of the post -world war of the second world war to demand independence, justice and development.
He also said that in collaboration in these programs, it helps to create a more just, peaceful and inclusive world while China is practicing practically.

He said, cooperation security methods are more effective than one -sided measures. And lastly, it is a civilization exchange. He said respect for cultural, political and economic diversity is the basis of cooperation that avoids the “one -style” systems previously used. Thus, the cooperation between Africa and China provides a practical example of these principles. From the development of infrastructure and business to education, technology and cultural exchange, our partnership is built on the benefit of collective expectations. It is an example that shows how southern and southern partnerships can improve the international system without repeating the imbalance.
Cavince Adhere, an international analyst at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), said that GGI is China’s proposal to reconsider how countries can cooperate internationally, built on respect for national authority, promoting mutual benefits and effective cooperation.
He said the program would play an important role in launching important negotiations on how countries can cooperate equally and respectfully, to bring prosperity to all – young and old.

He said, the Chinese story itself gives a strong example. His unparalleled economic reform was achieved not by copying without thinking of a foreign example, but in accordance with economic principles and directing them to its social context, which was later referred to as Chinese -known socialism. For African countries that have been facing external pressure to accept and implement certain policy systems, GGI’s respect for their right to find their own way is a new wind of hope.
The digital editor of the KBC National Broadcasting Corporation, Eric Biegon said it was not important to judge the country by their words but for their success and China has ensured that it benefits African countries with a broader interest in the two sides.
He also said China’s economic success was due to good governance. Looking at international impacts, China is currently the second largest world economy and is also a nation in trade. This growth, if you ask me, is motivated by strong leadership, long -term plans, and sustainable investment in creativity.
