He was one of the politicians who attended the funeral of his father’s leader in the National Assembly, Kimani Ichung’wah.
The Kikuyu MP buried his father, Elder Isaac Ichung’wah Ngugi, at a funeral service with a strong emotion on Monday, September 15.
The funeral held in Gikambura was attended by prominent leaders, including the President William Rutowho joined family, friends and residents to celebrate the life of the old man.
Elder Ichung’wah died in peace on Thursday, September 4, shortly after leaving the hospital. A touch video showed Ichung’wah with emotion when the coffin was lowered, with the church choir singing worship songs.
How did the Kiambu crowd close to Peter Salasya?
During worship, the existing politicians were introduced to the crowd and the majority of the parliament, Sylvanus Osoro.
Included are the elected MP Trizah Wanjiru, Lang’ata MP Felix Odiwuor famous Jalang’o, and Kipkelion MP East Cherdo Kimutai.
Among them, Jalang’o was overwhelmed by mourners until Salasya was introduced.
“We have Peter Salasya here with us,” Osoro said, and the mourners vigorously cheered the analyst.
The MP with a permanent smile walked to the front ranks and greeted President Ruto before returning to his seat.
Salasya shared the video on his social networking page, proudly insisting that Mount Kenya had accepted him.
“Once you win, you will always remain a winner. Murima’s spirits have accepted the western bull of Kenya,” He wrote.
In another post, he wrote:
“The reception I received today has proved that the Kikuyu loves me so much. The whole tent went into the party when my name was mentioned. I love you very much, the people of Kiambu.”
Kenyans on social networks acknowledged that Salasya is loved, while others commenting on what happened in the video.

Is Peter Salasya greedy?
In another news, Salasya shot online after several women accused him of being greedy, claiming he only gave KSh 500 after spending time with him.
The stories, shared through the Edgar Obare forum, sparked intense debates online.
Salasya, who has been clearly expressing his desire to find a wife, made the allegation while giving a ridiculous answer.
He wanted the women to bring back the money if they really felt it was too small, which fueled further debate among Kenyans.
