Grandpa Owino talks about a photo shoot online with his son William Ruto: “I changed”

The MP spoke after a picture of a photo that showed him with several men enjoying drinks in what appeared to be a recreational area.

The photo showed the group sitting on the table with alcohol. One of the men in the photo was alleged to be his son William RutoNick Ruto.

However, Babu denied the allegations, explaining that the picture was old and no longer reflected his present life.

Through his Facebook page, the MP said the picture was taken many years ago, before he stopped drinking alcohol.

“Let me explain this to the record. The last time drinking alcohol was on January 17, 2020. The photo was taken in 2018. I have been a water drunk for the last five years,” He wrote.

He went further and merges his personal change with his political vision.

“I will change the lives of Kenyans and Nairobi residents as I changed my life,” he added.

Should the grandfather remain ODM to defeat Sakaja 2027?

The online photo spread at a time when rumors were increasing about Grandfather’s political action, especially about the Nairobi 2027 governor.

Lang’ata MP Phelix Odiwuor, popularly known as Jalang’o, advised Babu to remain loyal to the ODM party if he intends to fight the governor Johnson Sakaja.

He said that the party’s support would be crucial in the race that voters are heavily motivated by the obedience of the parties.

Jalang’o emphasized that remaining ODM will help Babu avoid unnecessary political divisions and gain the support of the local.

He noted that ODM’s support can give the grandfather a solid foundation in what is already considered to be a strong and tensioned strange.

Is Kenya one is the power of 2027 politics?

Meanwhile, one Kenyan group, led by a Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifunait has been organizing itself as a youth alternative against traditional political camps.

The group, which involves Babu, Saboti MP Caleb Amisi and Gathoni Waumomba, has been conducting meetings across the country to gather youth power.

Unlike the familiar political alliances, Kenya has identified itself as a new movement built on youth anger, especially those who have been angered by economic problems and administrative corruption.

Some analysts say this strategy could bother older politicians towards the 2027 elections.
