Kisii: A woman dies, her husband is seriously injured following a massive gas explosion in the house

Grade Two, Kisii: A middle -aged man known as Fred Mokaya is fighting for his life in the hospital while his beloved wife died after an explosion of gas pitcher occurred at their home.

A video shared by Getembe TV shows a two -storey building, and apparently the two were living on the second floor, where many people gathered trying to help them.

A sad incident shows Mokaya running out of his home with fire injuries, but when he tried to save his life, his thoughts were still on his wife who was in the house.

He looked confused and wanted to go back into the house where he came from, but people called him back.

There was a crowd inside the gate of the building, and many of them were injured.

Two -grade witnesses what they said

“A gas pitcher exploded Kisii and killed a woman while her husband was seriously injured,” Said Cyprine Oenga on a Facebook post.

“Eyewitnesses say the explosion occurred in their house, causing an outbreak in the area. The injured man was rushed to hospital while police and emergency services arrived to control the area,” Added Getembe TV.

In a sincere publication on Facebook, his uncle Mokaya, Justus Okari, asked Kenyans to pray for his nephew.

Supergas company stated that LPG gas is widely used at home, restaurants, schools, hospitals, and if there is a gas explosion, one should leave immediately and make sure everyone is safe.

They should also notify neighbors to leave and then call the fire department and gas suppliers.

Kakamega Hospital burns after gas explosion

In a preliminary statement, Shinyalu residents were shocked after gas exploded at a health facility near them and forced to seek other services.

When they heard there was a fire, residents fled the health center and helped extinguish the fire and save some of the equipment that could be provided.

Officials sent from the county government arrived at the center and set up a tent for patients while continuing to help residents.
